Christ at the heart of Finsbury yesterday, today and tomorrow...

CONGREGATIONAL WORSHIP RESUMES

St Clement's is
 holding congregational worship in church,
for all who wish to attend on Sundays and Holy Days in Lent, Holy Week and Easter.
However, there will continue to be livestreamed worship here on Facebook and Instagram.
And we hope to introduce midweek worship and study on Facebook and Zoom during Lent.
Please join us in whichever way is best for you!
Parish Mass in church at 10.30 Sundays
There will be a livestream at 9.30am as usual, and the aim is to find other ways of meeting virtually over the coming days.
Please stay safe and keep well.
Fr David
Regular updates, prayers and live-streamed services continue on our Facebook page

 A welcoming community

St Clement’s is a welcoming, diverse and growing parish of the Diocese of London in the Church of England. God’s love in Jesus Christ inspires us to love and serve those of all faiths and none who live within our parish boundaries between the City Road, Goswell Road and Old Street. As Christians, the people of St Clement's seek to share our experience of God’s life and love revealed to us through our Lord Jesus Christ, and to grow in faith, hope and love. St Clement’s is very much a neighbourhood church and we are glad to have gained a reputation for giving a warm, friendly and inclusive welcome. St Clement's is  proud to be a member of the Inclusive Church Network.

Something for Everybody

St Clement’s Kids’ Club, for children of primary school age, meets during the Sunday Mass, with a fun activity and teaching parallel to the Sunday theme. There are also crèche areas with soft toys for younger children and their carers. We always serve refreshments after Sunday Mass to meet and mix informally.

As well as the Sunday services there are an increasing number of midweek services and activities, occasional concerts and other events. St Clement’s is  open on Sundays and at various times during the week (see Calendar) - or by arrangement with the Vicar, Father David - as well as for services. You’d be very welcome to join us for any of our services or events, or simply to sit in this beautiful building! We are happy to discuss baptisms, banns of marriage, weddings, or simply be a listening ear with time for a chat. Please contact Father David.

The church is deeply involved in the life of the wider neighbourhood, with links to many local organisations, formal and informal. Read more about community networks on our Community page.

We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults. The PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website. https://www.churchofengland.org/more/safeguarding.
Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Kim Bosher; our Children's Champion is Elaine Sutherland.
